Award top-up - Fresh from the remarkable victory at Anifest
India-2010, "Feel the punch" added another prestigious
recognition to its awards kitty with a SPECIAL JURY AWARD at the
Short and Documentary Film Festival of Hyderabad-2010, a 4-day
film carnival organized by the Hyderabad Film Club from
September 24 to 28, 2010 at Hyderabad.
"Feel the punch" from DNA Inc. bags the TASI Viewer's Choice
Award at Anifest India-2010
A team of students from Dilsukhnagar Arena crafted this
hilarious 3D Animation short film in High-Definition. The film
won the coveted TASI Viewer's Choice Award in the "Student Films
Category" at the 6th edition of Anifest India by an overwhelming
margin.
The win assumes importance as the film competed successfully for
the top honour from a pool of 10 national and 5 international
student short films at India's biggest International Animation
festival.
Story:
A mind-game between a beggar and a commuter waiting to board a
bus takes a startling turn as the commuter realizes he is
outsmarted.
The experience leaves him wiser as he discovers that the
good-old trick of shooing away beggars is no good anymore.
